今回は第三四回 春雅展に参加させていただいた様子をご紹介します。

本展示会は、小品盆栽を中心とした全国規模の展示会で、普段なかなか目にすることのできない貴重な作品が数多く並ぶ場でもあります。

2026年は大阪・鶴見緑地のハナミズキホールにて開催され、多くの来場者で賑わいました。 

会場には、長い年月をかけて育てられた盆栽や、

作家の技術と感性が込められた作品が並び、

一つひとつに深い物語と静かな迫力を感じました。

そのような場に、自身の作品を通して関わらせていただけたことを、大変光栄に感じております。

日々、木と向き合い、手を動かし続ける中で、こうした展示会に参加することで、自分自身の現在地を知り、また次へ進むための大きな刺激をいただきました。

伝統の世界に触れながらも、今の時代だからこそできる表現、そして“手仕事にしか出せない価値”を改めて見つめ直す機会となりました。

 

今回の経験を糧に、今後は展示だけでなく ポップアップやイベント出展 なども積極的に行い、より多くの方に木彫の魅力を伝えていきたいと考えています。

実際に見て、触れていただくことでしか伝わらない、木の質感、刃の跡、そして作品が持つ“気配”。

そうしたものを、より身近に感じていただける機会を増やしていきます。

これからも、一点一点、想いを込めて彫り続けてまいります。

In this blog, I would like to share my experience participating in the 34th Shunga Exhibition.

This exhibition is a nationally recognized event centered around shohin bonsai,featuring many rare and refined works that are not often seen in everyday life.In 2026, it was held at Hanamizuki Hall in Osaka and attracted many visitors. 

The venue was filled with bonsai cultivated over many years,as well as works that embodied the skill and sensibility of their creators.Each piece carried its own quiet presence and story.

It was a great honor to be involved in such a setting through my own work.

Through daily practice—facing the wood and continuing to carve—

participating in exhibitions like this allows me to reflect on my current level and gain inspiration for the next step forward.

While respecting tradition,it also became an opportunity to reconsider what can be expressed in the present day,and the unique value that only handcrafted work can offer.

Building on this experience,I plan to expand beyond exhibitions and take part in pop-up events and various showcases,so that more people can experience the appeal of wood carving.

There are qualities that can only be understood in person—

the texture of the wood, the marks of the blade,and the subtle presence that each piece holds.

I hope to create more opportunities for people to encounter these elements firsthand.

I will continue carving each piece with care and intention.
