本年も、多くのご縁に支えられ、無事に一年を終えることができました。
手に取ってくださった皆さま、声をかけてくださった皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。
木に向き合い、刃を入れ、一刀一刀を積み重ねる日々の中で、
「作る」という行為は、技術だけでなく、心の在り方そのものだと改めて感じた一年でもありました。
思うようにいかないこと、迷うこと、立ち止まることもありましたが、
それでも木は正直で、向き合った分だけ応えてくれます。
来年は 午年。
地を強く蹴り、前を見据えて走り出す年。
速さだけでなく、しなやかさと持久力が問われる年でもあります。
流行に流されるのではなく、
受け継がれてきた技を足元に据えながら、
今の時代だからこそ生まれる表現を形にしていきたい。
彫刻としての力、木が持つ温度、
手仕事でしか生まれない“気配”を、これからも大切にしていきます。
小さな一歩でも、確かな前進を。
そして、跳ぶべき時にはしっかりと跳べるよう、
日々の積み重ねを怠らず、精進してまいります。
新しい一年が、皆さまにとって健やかで実り多き年となりますように。

Thanks to many meaningful connections, we have been able to bring this year to a close in good health and spirit.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took my work into their hands and to all who shared kind words along the way.
Through countless days spent facing the wood, setting the blade, and carving one stroke at a time,
this year reminded me that “making” is not only a matter of technique, but also a reflection of one’s state of mind.
There were moments of hesitation, setbacks, and times when progress seemed to stall.
Yet wood is honest, and it responds faithfully to the care and sincerity given to it.
The coming year is the Year of the Horse.
A year to push firmly from the ground and move forward with clear intent.
It is a year that demands not only speed, but also flexibility and endurance.
Rather than being swayed by passing trends,
I will continue to ground myself in the techniques handed down through generations,
while shaping expressions that can only be born in this time.
The strength of carving, the warmth held within the wood,
and the quiet presence that only handcraft can create
will remain at the heart of my work.
Even if each step is small, I aim for steady progress.
And when the moment comes to leap forward,
I will be ready, supported by daily dedication and discipline.
