GENYEMON Receives Best Artwork Award at NY EXPO 2025!
In 2025, Genyemon proudly exhibited at NY EXPO 2025,
one of the world’s most prestigious art events held in New York City.
The event gathered many artists from Japan and around the globe,
creating a space where diverse cultural expressions met.
Visitors were deeply moved by the fusion of traditional Japanese wood carving and modern artistry.
We received numerous heartfelt comments such as:

Thanks to this overwhelming support,
Genyemon was honored with the Best Artwork Award at the event
a moment of immense pride and gratitude for our team.
This follows our successful participation in the Japan Festival CANADA,
where we similarly showcased the beauty of Japanese traditional sculpture to a wide range of international attendees.
These events reaffirmed that Japanese craftsmanship, with its deep roots and spiritual precision, resonates powerfully across cultures.
Our main exhibit, the General (Shogun), is a one-of-a-kind sculpture hand-carved from high-quality Japanese Zelkova (Keyaki) wood. Every piece is brought to life through the hands of skilled artisans, expressing the spirit and strength of a Japanese shogun with stunning presence.

【源右衛門】2025 NY EXPOに参戦｜最優秀賞を受賞しました！
2025年、源右衛門はアメリカ・ニューヨークで開催された世界的なアートイベント
「NY EXPO 2025」に出展いたしました。
このイベントには日本を含む世界各国から多くのアーティストが集い、
文化と芸術の交差点として大きな盛り上がりを見せました。
私たちの作品をご覧いただいた多くの方々から、
「こんな繊細な彫刻は初めて見た」
「今にも動き出しそうな躍動感がある」
と、感動の声を多数いただきました。
その結果として、NY EXPO内で最優秀賞（Best Artwork Award）を受賞するという、
光栄な評価をいただきました。心より感謝申し上げます。
以前参加したJapan Festival CANADAでも、
現地の皆様に日本の伝統文化「木彫り」の魅力をお届けすることができ、
今回の受賞と連続して、多くの方に日本の美しさを感じていただけたことに大きな喜びを感じています今回展示したメイン作品は、「将軍」。日本の高級木材の欅（けやき）を使用し、
熟練職人の手により一刀一刀彫り上げた唯一無二の彫刻です。
日本の将軍が持つ圧倒的な存在感と威厳を、木彫りの中に凝縮した作品です。
また、源右衛門では完全オリジナルのオーダー制作も承っております。
名前や家紋の彫刻、構図のアレンジ、海外への贈答用カスタムなど、
アートとして、インテリアとして、ギフトとして
世界にひとつだけの作品を制作いたします。
