This month, we had the honor of exhibiting at the 13th Osaka Credit Union Joint Business Matching Fair 2025.
We introduced our Kishiwada Danjiri woodcarvings to many companies and visitors, and it was a truly valuable experience.
Many people stopped by our booth to view our hand-carved works and learn about the tradition behind them. Their interest and admiration reminded us once again of the deep value of traditional craftsmanship.
What moved us most were the comments like:
“It’s amazing that such craftsmanship still exists in Japan.”
“As a fellow Japanese, I really hope you’ll share this with the world.”
Hearing such encouraging words gave us a renewed sense of purpose and motivation to continue spreading this cultural art to a global audience.
Speaking with various professionals and learning about their innovations also sparked new possibilities for collaboration and inspiration across industries.
Tradition isn’t just something to protect — it’s something to connect with the present and carry into the future.
We’re committed to continuing our efforts to share the beauty of Danjiri and the skills of Miyadaiku (temple carpenters) with as many people as possible.

今月、私たちは「第13回大阪府内信用金庫合同ビジネスマッチングフェア2025」に出展させていただきました。
岸和田の地車（だんじり）彫刻の魅力を、たくさんの企業の方々に直接お伝えすることができ、とても貴重な時間となりました。
当日は多くの方が私たちのブースに足を止めてくださり、実際の彫刻や資料を熱心に見てくださる様子に、伝統工芸の力を改めて実感しました。
「こんな技術がまだ日本にあるなんて感動した」「日本人として、ぜひ世界に広めてほしい」といった応援の声も多くいただき、私たちの活動に大きな勇気と力を与えていただきました。
また、他の分野の素晴らしい技術やアイデアを持った企業の皆さまと直接お話できたことで、新たな連携の可能性やインスピレーションも生まれました。
伝統は、守るだけでなく、“今”に繋げていくことが大切です。
このような機会を通じて、だんじりの魅力と宮大工の技術を一人でも多くの方に知っていただけるよう、これからも発信を続けていきたいと思います。
