9月下旬、私たち源右衛門は カナダ・マーカムジャパンエキスポ の打ち合わせのため、
再びカナダへ行ってきました。
源右衛門としてカナダを訪れるのは今回で2回目。
前回以上に多くの方に温かく迎えていただき、
日本の伝統文化を世界へ広めていく活動に大きな手ごたえを感じました。

現地では、日本文化や工芸に関心を持つ方々と交流し、
だんじり彫刻の魅力をお伝えする機会がありました。
さらに、カナダの雑貨店などにもご協力いただき、
源右衛門のパンフレットを置かせていただくことができました。
海外で私たちの想いを手に取っていただける環境が少しずつ広がっていることに、
心から感謝しています。

源右衛門の挑戦はまだまだ続きます。
次なる舞台は、なんと フランス・パリ、ルーヴル美術館。
世界中の人々が集まるこの地で、だんじりの彫刻を通じて日本の伝統文化を発信してまいります。

これからも源右衛門の歩みをぜひ楽しみにしていてください。

In late September, Gen-emon traveled once again to Markham, Canada,
for a meeting regarding the upcoming Markham Japan Expo.
This was our second visit to Canada,
and just like before, we were warmly welcomed by many people who truly appreciate
Japanese culture and craftsmanship.

During our stay, we had the chance to share the story of Kishiwada Danjiri woodcarving with those interested in traditional arts.
What made this trip even more special was that several local shops kindly allowed us to
display Genyemon pamphlets.
It was a meaningful step forward in letting more people outside Japan discover and
connect with our craft.

But our journey does not stop here.
Our next destination will be none other than the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
It is an incredible honor to bring the spirit of Danjiri carvings to such a world-renowned
stage, and we are determined to showcase the power and beauty of this tradition.
